21st-Jan-2008 11:20 am - So No More!
Richard Wilkinson // sad boy
After being harassed by a group of men at a show in Maryville and it being at a "family place" none the less!

I have given it serious thought that maybe me being individual as far as looks go; that possibly people are getting the wrong impression.

So what's left, how do I correct this?

How can I change the out come of what people think?

How can I be more approachable by the right people, and less by the wrong people?

I can't really correct the problem, But I have decided no more lip ring.

I can still be unique and artsy looking without all the metal on my face. I'm still keeping my nose ring but I wear my invisible retainer so much I forget that I even have that. But that isn't the point.

People judge you by what you look like. Sometimes when people do this they don't even care about getting to know you.

They could and can perceive you as (excuse my language) a bitch, a prick, a harlot, a punk. The list can go on and on and this is solely on looks too. Do they not understand the line don't judge a book by its cover? I think not.

"The only reason why you have those is because you want attention.."

I hear so many people say that about people. I think I have met some of the nicest people, that are far from the basic 'normalcy'. Pumped full with tattoos and piercings.

No one sees who you really are. Too many people walk around blind, and that's nonsense.
